‘Broad City’ duo celebrates Hillary Clinton from 1776

Hillary Clinton’s nomination for president is a victory for women’s rights, but on last night’s Late Show, Stephen Colbert wondered if we could celebrate this moment with women in 1776.

Luckily, he had Abatha and Josephine (the Constitution era alter egos of Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer) on the line. 

The girls were delighted to know that progress has been made, but they didn’t want any other spoilers of what happens in America since they’re hoping to binge watch it after it ends.

Even though it’s 1776, there’s at least one mention of something weed-related. Regardless of what century it is, Broad City will be Broad City. Read more…
