This is the jaw-dropping moment an NRA TV host suggested N. Korea bomb California instead of Guam

Grant Stinchfield, Dallas-based host on NRA TV, was eviscerated on social media on Thursday night after suggesting that North Korea should bomb Sacramento, California, instead of their claimed target, the U.S. territory of Guam.

Clearly speaking about the escalating tensions between the U.S. and North Korea, Stinchfield tweeted, “Let’s send a note to North Korea that Sacramento changed its name to Guam!”

Stinchfield subsequently deleted the tweet after blowback.

The NY Daily News reported on the incident on Friday, and noted that Stinchfield apologized for the tweet, and called it a “joke.”

“It was meant as a joke and I regret it,” Stinchfield told the outlet. “What’s going on is no laughing matter.”

The NY Daily News opined that Stinchfield singled Sacramento out for its strict gun laws and its opposition to many factions of the National Rifle Association.

Stinchfield’s NRA show, The Stinchfield Report, previously had spoken out against escalating tensions between the U.S. and North Korea, and said “there is nothing funny about an attack on America.”

Stinchfield has yet not commented about his deleted tweet on social media as of the time of this posting.
