Bill Clinton fell in love with Hillary all over again on the DNC stage

The 42nd President of the United States Bill Clinton took the stage in Philadelphia on Tuesday night for the first time after his wife, Hillary Clinton, formally became the Democratic Party’s nominee.

“I met a girl,” Clinton said referring to the first time he met Hillary. He reminisced on their special memories and how their relationship grew stronger.

“I was so impressed and surprised, momentarily I was speechless.”

He spoke about their marriage with simplicity and sincerity. “I married my best friend,” Clinton said.

“I asked her to marry me, but told her she really shouldn’t do it.”

Clinton spoke highly of Hillary and said, “She never made fun of people with disabilities. She tried to empower them based on their abilities.”

“Hillary opened my eyes to a whole new world of public service,” he continued.

“She’s insatiably curious, she’s a natural leader, she’s a good organizer, and she’s the best darn change-maker I’ve ever met in my entire life.”

He discussed how Hillary always worked and never settled.

“This woman had never been satisfied with the status quo. She always wants to move the ball forward.”

“Speeches like this are fun. Actually doing the work is hard.”

“As of today, you nominated the real one,” Clinton said as the crowd went wild.

Clinton said, “She is still the best darn change-maker I have ever known.”

Many people couldn’t help but poke fun at Clinton’s speech on Twitter.

Bill, that was one heck of a speech.
