The numbers are in and here’s which presidential candidate America cared about watching more

Thursday night concluded a two week long media frenzy for the Republican and Democratic National Conventions where the two political parties formalized their candidate for the election in November.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke last night while 27.8 million viewers watched, but as Deadline.com reports, that number “is down 2.4 million from what Trump and the RNC got on the same outlets on July 21 from 10 – 11:45 PM ET.

Clinton used her platform on the DNC stage to outline her plan for America as president, focusing on opportunity and jobs.

“So I want to tell you tonight how we will empower Americans to live better lives. My primary mission as President will be to create more opportunity and more good jobs with rising wages right here in the United States… From my first day in office to my last! Especially in places that for too long have been left out and left behind.”

Trump tweeted about her speech Friday morning.

“She spent the evening talking down to the American people (who) she’s looked down on her whole life,” Trump senior policy advisor Stephen Miller said in a statement late Thursday. “Her globalist agenda denies American citizens the protections to which they are all entitled – tearing us apart.”
